Just wanted to remind everyone to save the date for the upcoming Recruitment Information Seminar for bantam and midget aged athletes, parents and coaches at the Cloverdale Recreation Center, November 25th, 2011.

As a former university recruiter and coach (both NAIA and NCAA); a university softball athlete; a sister of female athletes who themselves went through the recruitment process in Canada and the USA in softball, hockey and basketball; as a minor softball coach who helped get her athletes recruited; and as the owner of a videography company that produces athletic scholarship videos - Michelle Peters has accrued an intimate knowledge of the recruitment process from a number of angles. As members of Storm, coaches athletes and parents will all receive the opportunity to attend this possibly life-changing information session free of charge.

Storm would like to welcome its new executive members aboard while thanking the existing board members for staying on. President Roger Manhao stays onboard for his second season, with Rob Warburton again joining him as Vice President. Secretary is Lorianne Mack, Treasurer is Laurette Korman, Registrar is Trish Lamont, Equipment Manager is Dennis Rieder, Uniforms is Janet Vidovic and Senior Director is Rob Upton.  Cathy Fasolino joins the board as Tournament Director while Kelsey Lewis moves onto Communications and Marketing Director. Returning executive members at large are Murray Spier (Newton Softball) and Deena Callewaert, with Kelly Upton, Joanne Demetris and Mark Palmer joining the executive team for the 2012.  Directors may be reached via emails provided in the 'directory' section of the website.

The University of Washington 2012 Coaches Clinic is set for SATURDAY January 21st. 2pm - 6pm at the Dempsey Indoor Center. Online registration is now avialable at www.washingtonsoftballcamps.com

An all-skills camp for interested campers is being held PRIOR to the Coaches Clinic. We are continually evaluating our system, and will have some updated & exciting stuff to share!
