"Cloverdale resident Leah Riske has been named the Association of Independent Institutions (All) Player of the Year.  In only her second season with the Simon Fraser University Clan women's softball team, Riske currently leads the team with six home runs and 31 RBls on the season. She was among three  former Surrey Storm players cho­sen to the All-Conference team, alongside outfielder Brittany May­ers and and first baseman Kelsey Haberl."
