Storm Registration Information

We have a new process effective for the 2016 season - please read carefully

There will be TWO registration tools for the 2017 season:

  1. Online tool for team staff members, all coaches, managers & helpers
  2. Online tool for Players (house and Rep will use the same tool

Parents will have to register for a Sport Ngin account first, from there they can register their children as players. This is an extra step to start with, but, registering in future years / seasons / for additional things will become much easier.  

Parents have the option to pay using a credit card online at the time of registration. However, there is an additional charge for this which is not collected by or administered by Storm. This additional fee is entirely non-refundable under all circumstances. Parents may still pay offline via cheque with no additional fees.

Volunteer Time is required for all players families in the U8 & up divisions at all levels of play. You will be required to submit one volunteer deposit cheque per player playing in these divisions payable to Surrey Storm, dated July 1, 2017 in the amount of $150.  Parents may choose to opt out of volunteering by providing payment to Storm of $125 either at the time of registering online by credit card, or by cheque dated February 1.  

Uniform deposits are required for all players U8 & up as well.  All house parents must submit a cheque payable to Surrey Storm dated July 1, 2017 in the amount of $75. 

Rep Uniform deposit cheques are to be made out to Surrey Storm in the amount of $150 dated July 1, 2017.

Rep registration, uniform and volunteer deposit cheques need to be provided to Storm not later than Feb 1, 2017 (contact your team manager).

House uniform and volunteer deposit cheques need to be provided to Storm at the time your team receives it's uniforms in March if not sooner (contact your coach).

All players at all levels and classifications must have a valid Softball BC Lifetime membership number. If you do not have one or do not remember it, visit www.softball.bc.ca to retrieve or to sign up.   

Registration fees include team photos & association registration for all levels except U6/Kball.  U6/Kball also includes the t-shirt/uniform.

REP FEES FOR 2017 ARE UNCHANGED

2017 Rep A fees are $400

2017 Rep B fees are $300

Players registering with Storm that attended the 2016 summer camp will receive a refund cheque from Storm at the conclusion of the 2017 Registration intake.

For U8 / Mini Mite your Storm 2017 Registration includes:

  • Player/individual photo
  • Tshirt "uniform" for every player
  • Storm provided team equipment (players will still need gloves, cleats and other personal protective equipment)
  • Two combination practice / games weekly (parents umpire)
  • Free access to Storm run pitching and skills clinics

For U10 / Mite your 2017 Registration Includes:

  • Team & individual photo
  • Uniforms
  • Storm provided team equipment
  • Two games weekly (Storm provides umpires for home games)
  • Free access to Storm run pitching & skills clinics
  • Storm covers team entry fees for District Championships
  • Storm covers team entry fees to one tournament (Storm run if available, external if not)
  • Access to try out for Storm's Supermite team & tournament entry fees for the Mite Championships at Squint Lake 

First Year Squirt / U12 Rep A & B Teams:

  • Individual and team photo
  • Uniforms jerseys (home and away)
  • Storm provides every team with a budget for coach apparal
  • Free access to Storm run pitching clinics
  • Access to Storm facilitated specialty clinics (fees may apply) such as Speed Agility and Quickness training, cacther clinics, slapping clinics, college recruitment clinics (useful for some later)
  • Free entry into Storms home tournament for their respective category
  • District Championship entry fees (B only)
  • Provincial Championship entry fees (A & B)
  • Storm covers NCCP training costs for Storm coaches
