SCOTTSBLUFF, NEBRASKA USA – Jessica Fasolino, Pitcher 1998A – Western Nebraska College Cougars Softball, NJCAA Div 1.

The Surrey Storm organization wishes to congratulate Pitcher - Jessica Fasolino of Surrey BC, from the Surrey Storm 1998A midget team who has officially signed with the Western Nebraska Cougars Softball team.  Jessica played minor ball for the Cloverdale Minor Softball Association, and White Rock Renegades 98A until she moved to Surrey Storm 1998A.  For the past 5 years Jessica has played for the Storm 98A team under head coach Roger Boily.  Jessica is a silver and two time bronze medalist from the Canadian National Softball Championship, including bronze the last two years in a row.  During her time with Storm Jessica demonstrated her hard work, competitiveness and outstanding pitching results, culminating in her signing with the Western Nebraska Cougars Softball team.  Over the past number of years she had the opportunity to partake in many tournaments throughout Canada and the USA, and was successfully recruited out of Colorado this past season.
Jessica has very much enjoyed playing for the Storm organization.  She is looking forward to playing for the Cougars under Head Coach Maria Winn and Assistant Katelyn Groves.  She is excited for the new challenge it will bring in Nebraska and the continuation of her development as a college softball pitcher.  Jessica is thankful to all her teammates, coaches and parents for their support and in their encouragement to pursue her goal of playing softball at the this level.  Jessica will be graduating from Clayton Heights Secondary School and will be moving to Nebraska in early August to attend her new school and start with her new team.  She will be taking Criminal Justice at WNCC.

Jessica would also specifically like to thank the following individuals, past and present who have assisted her over her softball career:  Roger Boily, Michelle Peters, Dani Damel, Mark Palmer, and Jim Neville for their guidance, training, and coaching through her many years playing and in helping her reach her goal.

The Surrey Storm organization wishes Jessica the very best and continued success in her softball and schooling as she joins the Western Nebraska Cougars this coming summer.

Way to go Jessica!
