The Storm 06B team won silver at Ridge Meadows over the May long weekend. They won their first game on Friday and then went 1 and 1 to put them in second place going into the playoffs. Their placing gave them a bye to the semi finals where they won that game and advanced to the gold medal game.  They fought hard and played through some injuries but came up a bit short.  The girls played their hearts out and have now caught playoff fever.  The other major highlight of the weekend (for the adults anyway) was the kids playing California Kickball against the coaches and parents. The kids were unfortunately humbled by the parents 19 to 1 but fired them up for the next 3 games. Great job ladies!
