The 2006 Storm B team had a strong showing in Kelowna this past weekend. They started out strong on Saturday morning and won their first game and then lost the next one but regrouped and won their last game on Saturday.  The first playoff didn't go as well as they wanted but worked hard and made it to the Bronze game.  They took charge early and ended up winning 17 to 3 to take the Bronze. The girls were extremely excited  about this tournament because it meant going to the hotel and hanging out and swimming.  They had a BBQ on Saturday during the games and a fun pizza party on Saturday night.  In the end, they were glad to leave Kelowna at 6 pm Sunday because that meant they were in the medal round.  Overall it was a great weekend ball wise but it would have been nice if there was a little more of that so called Okanagan Sunshine. Way to go Storm!
