The ladies of Storm 2003A were in action on  the Canada Day long weekend at the Ridge Meadows Summer Series U16A tournament coming away with gold. 

The girls had a bit of a rough start with two round robin losses to Delta Heat 03 and Victoria Devils 02, but battled back with wins over Fusion 03 & Pride 03 to come out of round robin with a split 2-2 record. The fourth place seed saw them face Pride 03 delivering a 4-3 win. The semi-final saw them up against the first seeded Heat 03 team where they delivered a 4-1 win and a date in the final with Fusion 03.  Lead with strong pitching & early offence the girls delivered a solid 6-0 win to claim  gold.
